The role will involve maintaining a large luxury residence to a 5-star standard, including detailed cleaning, laundry, ironing and overall household organisation. The home comprises five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and extensive indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, requiring a candidate who takes genuine pride in delivering an exceptionally high standard of presentation and care.
The family also have two friendly West Highland Terriers, and assisting with their care and wellbeing will form an important part of the role. As the family travel for approximately 15 weeks each year, the successful candidate will be required to house sit the property during these periods, caring for the dogs and overseeing the security and smooth running of the home. This role would suit someone who is professional, practical, reliable, flexible and confident managing a private residence independently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- House sitting and overseeing the property whilst the family are away (approx. 15 weeks)
- Full detailed housekeeping and cleaning of the luxury residence
- Laundry, washing, ironing, changing bed linen and wardrobe care
- Maintaining the home to a consistently high presentation standard
- Storage organisation and maintaining household inventory
- Maintaining outdoor entertaining and alfresco areas
- Caring for the family dogs whilst the family are travelling
- Working autonomously and managing daily housekeeping tasks efficiently
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working within luxury homes, yachting or 5-star hospitality advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
- Friendly, professional and hardworking nature with strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Trustworthy, reliable and discreet
- Clean drivers licence required
- Valid WWCC / Police Check required
- Excellent references

JOB CONDITIONS:
