EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER FOR A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY ON THE GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA


We are excited to offer a flexible part-time Executive Housekeeping role to maintain a stunning, large high-end waterfront home in Carrara, Gold Coast.  This lovely busy couple require someone to keep their home maintained to a 5 star standard.

You will ideally have previous experience working in large properties or have a hospitality background along with exceptional ironing skills and a deep understanding of how to care for delicate and luxurious fabrics. 

We are looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail that takes pride in their job. There will also be that level of household management, liaising with contractors and tradesman on a regular basis. Exterior staff are already employed to keep the grounds and outdoor areas maintained, however this lovely couple do often entertain so a regular check and clean of the outside eating areas will be necessary to ensure all is ready for any dinner parties etc. The client is an avid cook and therefore the home will be smelling delicious often. 

This role is a part-time position, with 20 hours per week, 4 days per week, and offering flexibility and autonomy to work around your schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Daily Housekeeping: Housekeeping duties, including making beds daily, managing linens, maintaining bathroom cleanliness, and ensuring all living areas are consistently clean and presentable.
  • High-End Finishes: Maintain the home’s high-end finishes with meticulous care.
  • Laundry Care: Use your expertise in caring for expensive, fabrics and efficiently manage the ironing within a beautiful large, light filled laundry.
  • Kitchen: Oversee and maintain a large, heavily used kitchen, including the care of high-end appliances used for frequent cooking and baking.
  • Tradesman: Coordinate and manage tradespeople who visit the property for renovations, maintenance, pool, and gardening work.
  • Outdoor Area Upkeep: Ensure outdoor areas - patios, balconies, and BBQ, are consistently tidy and ready for use. 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 5-star cleaner in high-end homes or 5-star resorts.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, take initiative, and communicate effectively with the principal while following directions.
  • Must be comfortable around dogs (two)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and a reliable car.
  • Excellent contactable references
  • WWCC - Blue Card
  • National Police Check

Job Conditions:

  • Flexible working hours and days to accommodate your other commitments.
  • $40 per hour + super and holidays etc
