Our lovely clients are searching for a dedicated and experienced domestic couple to join a fully staffed household in Toorak, Melbourne. This exquisite private residence requires maintenance both inside and out to maintain a 5-star standard. The ideal candidates will be individuals who take pride in their work, have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a happy environment.
You would both have previous experience as a Domestic / Guardian couple and ideally in a similar setting. The Housekeeper will be required to take care of, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, linen changes, wardrobe management and on occasions also enjoy cooking healthy homestyle dishes (chef already employed)
The maintenance person will be required to attend to any minor maintenance issues that may arise around the property, (having a building background or a trade will be highly favourable) you would also be required to maintain the pool area, garden areas, lawn mowing etc and ensuring the exterior is in tip top shape, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as you will be coordinating with outside trades on the larger projects.
This is a live-in position, and a fully self-contained apartment is supplied as well as a vehicle for work purposes. We are searching for a couple that is looking for a long-term role and works well together and within a harmonious team environment and would really like to make a difference in their principals’ lives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
HOUSEKEEPER:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of all designated areas
- Laundry duties to include washing and ironing of fine fabrics
- Ensure stocking and inventory of household supplies
- Assist in serving meals.
- Preparing healthy homestyle cooking on occasions
- Work closely with the maintenance personnel to ensure the overall functionality and aesthetics of the property.
MAINTENANCE:
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ascertain any maintenance issues
- Maintain swimming pool
- Window cleaning
- Water pressure / gurney areas as needed
- Assist with gardening
- Fix and repair smaller exterior issues as they arise
REQUIREMENTS
- Have worked together in previous roles.
- Experienced Housekeeper
- Experience with property maintenance (Interior and exterior)
- Able to work in cooler climates
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying household needs and schedules.
- Assisting with any onsite functions
- Works well within a team environment
- Police check require
- NDA will be required.
