We are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to support a private residence in Point Piper, Sydney.
This is a full-time, replacement role for the family’s long-standing Housekeeper and offers a stable position within a well-run, welcoming household. The role would suit someone with experience in private households or high-end hotel environments who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home.
The successful candidate will be confident managing daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing and general upkeep of the home to a consistently high standard. Periodic deep-cleaning tasks and occasional basic meal preparation will also form part of the role. You will receive on-site training and a full handover to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet and professional, with a warm and friendly manner and strong attention to detail. This is a lovely opportunity for someone seeking long-term, full-time employment in a respectful and established private household.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the home, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and surface wiping.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness especially in the bathrooms and kitchen.
- Manage laundry and ironing duties with attention to detail.
- Ensure all beds are made and presented neatly on a daily basis.
- Polishing silverware and maintaining stainless steel appliances
- Annual deep cleaning of internal cupboards, wardrobes, and fridges
- Occasional basic meal preparation for two people
- Working collaboratively alongside an existing Housekeeper
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within a private household, 5-star hotel, or luxury setting
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a high standard of presentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
- Ability to maintain discretion and respect for privacy
- Basic first aid knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- Fluent in English
- Valid Police Check required.

Job Conditions:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Occasional evening work required (approximately 3 times per year)
