PART-TIME EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER FOR PRIVATE ESTATE - ASAP START

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of a private estate for a lovely Mediterranean family with three teenagers in Tuerong. This role will suit someone with a 5-star background in either luxury estates or superyachts, who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in immaculate standards.


You will be responsible for the smooth daily running of the home, maintaining immaculate presentation, managing laundry and organisation, assisting with Mediterranean meal preparation, and supporting the family with errands and occasional event assistance. The position requires someone energetic, self-managing and professional, with a calm and proactive approach.


This is a part-time position across four days per week, offering a beautiful working environment with principals who value discretion, initiative and consistently high standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the home.
  • Daily: General tidying, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and managing laundry, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe organisation.
  • Weekly: Deep cleaning of bathrooms and showers, changing and laundering all bed linens.
  • Food prep for fresh Mediterranean-style meals
  • Monitor pantry/fridge stock, rotate food and manage daily grocery lists
  • Run errands including groceries, dry cleaning, post office and household supplies
  • Support occasional evening or weekend events hosted at the residence
  • Assist with feeding and caring for the two family dogs when required
  • Create and maintain a detailed household manual for ongoing operations

Requirements

  • Experience in a 5-star private estate or superyacht environment
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cooking and meal preparation
  • Previous experience with European families highly regarded
  • Physically fit, energetic and able to work autonomously
  • Confident preparing food and following recipes as directed
  • Professional, positive and well-spoken with excellent communication
  • Experience with neurodivergent children preferred
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Driver licence, clean record and reliable vehicle
  • WWCC (Blue Card), National Police Check and full working rights in Australia
  • Excellent contactable references

Job Conditions

  • Part-time, 20–24 hours per week across 4 days
  • Ideally an 9.30am start (flexible for the right person)
