CHEF FOR PRIVATE RESIDENCE

We are seeking a warm, discreet Chef with a background in nutrition to join a lovely household in Ascot. This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be confident in the kitchen, with excellent cooking skills, high hygiene standards, and a genuine passion for creating delicious meals. You’ll be responsible for planning and preparing meals that are not only flavourful and varied, but also tailored to meet specific macro-nutrient requirements. You’ll liaise with the couple’s dietitian and Family Assistant to ensure each plate is aligned with their goals.

The household has a full-time Family Assistant and a cleaner. You will collaborate closely with the existing team to maintain the smooth running of the home.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Private Chef / Hospitality experience and someone who enjoys being part of a professional, friendly, and supportive team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh, nutrient dense lunch, dinner and snacks daily
  • Liaise with the Family Assistant and dietitian for macro content
  • Be confident planning and preparing a range of meals with clear macro breakdowns
  • Oversee the kitchen stocktake and grocery list
  • Maintain an overall clean, tidy, and organised kitchen
  • Responsible for sourcing ingredients and carrying out the weekly grocery shop

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar environment using a professional-style kitchen
  • Passionate about creating whole-food culinary experiences with lots of flavours and spices
  • Comfortable planning and preparing meals based on individual macro and nutrition targets.
  • Able to use My Fitness Pal or similar apps to track nutritional requirements.
  • Experience with high-end household standards an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions and take initiative
  • First Aid certificate
  • Confident, kind, and discreet manner
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working around pets (the couple have two Labradoodles)
  • Valid driver’s licence and own car
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Police Check
  • Excellent contactable references
  • Candidates must have full working rights in Australia
